NK Architects Celebrates 50th Anniversary
MORRISTOWN, NJ, April 20, 2022 — NK Architects is proud to announce its 50th year of building relationships and designing for communities throughout the country. Founded in November 1972 by architects Ray Nadaskay and Allen Kopelson in Morristown, NJ, the firm has grown into a regional design firm with offices in Morristown, New York and Philadelphia. In that time, NK Architects has shaped many of the region’s leading institutions in healthcare and higher education, providing expertise in architecture, interior design, planning and structural engineering.
NK Architects will mark its 50th anniversary by giving back to local communities throughout the year, contributing to charitable organizations, participating in CANstruction — the hunger-relief program the firm has long championed — and celebrating its many long-running client relationships at an in-person event this fall.

NK Architects is particularly proud of the decades-long relationships it has forged with the region’s healthcare providers, institutions of higher education, independent schools, corporate institutions and nonprofits, as well as the mixed-use urban housing developments and thousands of townhouses the firm has completed across the state. With upcoming projects for existing and new clients, NK Architects looks forward to empowering even more healthcare providers, educators and allied organizations to leverage design in pursuit of individual and collective wellbeing.
